I live on a porch
but it’s actually not that bad. It’s sorta rustic (and rusty) and dirty but in an Anthropologie catalog kind of way and not a crack den kind of way.

These doors are super pretty but I had to put shit over them because they go into the main living room of my apartment. You can see my shelf and the arm of my couchbed and the pretty windchimes. Those tapestries are from the batik school in India where I took lessons, but I didn’t make them.

In the windows (aka half of the walls of the room) Robin has a bunch of plants growing. These are tomato. She also has basil, sage, and jalapenos.

The ceiling is cool. This also shows you how narrow the room is lol.

The window on the back wall has a gross old motheaten curtain on it but I think it’s really pretty so I’m keeping it. Those little lantern things go all around the room but don’t light up.

These guys are here (that window looks into my roommate’s room)

This shows you again how narrow the room is. I took this sitting on my couchbed and facing the doors. Yep, those are dresses hanging off of a plant.

The only downside to this room is that I have to sleep on this.
So, in short: being poor isn’t that bad because pretty fabric isn’t that expensive. Also, Robin is nice and she’s letting me keep all of my clothes in her closet.
